SeedView — How to Play
The Frame
You are a swing trader. Daily charts: each candle is one full day. You trade LONG only: you're hunting the START of an up-move. No reversals, no scalps, no shorting. One decision per card: does tonight's alert deserve your attention tomorrow?
Seed Days
Each card is a seed day: end of day after a stock jumped 10%+ on 3x its normal volume. Like a seed, most never sprout.
What You'll See
The chart (daily candles, volume, moving averages (MAs)), a compressed view of the past year, the market's trend, and marks where this stock has alerted before. Ticker and dates stay hidden until you answer. Judge the chart, not the story.
The Three Calls
SkipNot worth watching. No real setup, broken trend, or a move that's already old.
WatchlistWorth watching, but NOT ready today. Something specific must happen first, and you can name it. You are NOT entering tomorrow.
In-PlayToday's move may be the START of something. The play exists now: you could name your entry tonight.
The One Rule
Judge the setup, not the future. Good setups fail often.
Sessions
Checkpoints every 20 cards on the full deck. A 45-minute break starts a fresh session; your stats reset with it. Use the "Need help answering?" button any time.
The Goal
No points here. One number matters: on the clear-cut setups, see it like the curator. That's your recognition, and it grows faster than you'd expect.
What am I looking for?
Stocks that fire alert after alert are telling you something: money is accumulating quietly. When a stock with that history finally breaks out of a long, quiet base and holds above its 200MA, that's the moment this deck hunts. Every card asks: is this the BEGINNING of that move, or the tail of an old one?
Every card asks: where on this path is today?
Moving averages (MAs) are the 20, 50, and 200-day lines. Healthiest: price above a flat-or-rising 200MA, shorter MAs turning up with it. A long base breaking out above a flat 200MA is the classic starting point. Mixed pictures are judgment calls. 'Not sure' is allowed.
A stretch where price moved sideways: quiet and contained, weeks to months. Tradeable setups need one nearby: price just broke OUT of one, or sits just above it. A chart that only 'went up a lot' has nothing to work from.
Where in today's range did it finish? Near the high = buyers in control into the close. Near the low = it faded.
Some stocks have had alert days like this before: the same +10% on 3x volume. The dotted lines mark those days; the sidebar counts them. Repeat firers behave differently from first-time poppers.
Before reading any chart, the scan's output splits roughly 54% Skip, 39% Watchlist, 7% In-Play. Most alerts are noise. An In-Play call claims this chart is the exception: about 1 in 14. The skill is knowing which exception is real. In-Play cards in this deck offered a working second entry 50% of the time, the best of any label, but they're rare by nature.

Rest is part of the process. The deck picks up exactly where you left it, and a 45-minute break is what actually starts a fresh session. Checkpoints keep coming every 20 cards.
